Diamond Concrete Supply, INC. | We are a family-owned & operated concrete supply, manufacturing, & distributing plant in East County, looking for a Full-Time - Maintenance Mechanic Laborer for our busy Concrete Batch Plant located in Lakeside, CA. This is a permanent position with great benefits and room for advancement within the company. The ideal candidate for this position will be able to: -Assist in the upkeep and repairs of machines, mechanical systems, &/or heavy equipment/diesel trucks. -Assist with routine maintenance and preventative maintenance on machines and production equipment. -Assist with troubleshooting breakdowns, repairs, or replacing worn or broken parts. -Assist with traffic control near Batch Plant. -Comply with OSHA safety standards and regulations. -Conduct routine maintenance and safety checks around plant/yard. -Communicate effectively both written & verbally. *Bilingual in Spanish & English is greatly preferred but not required. -Handle the physical demands of the job (lifting 50lbs, walking around or standing for 6-8 hours in an outdoor climate, etc.) -Load/Unload semi-trucks, trailers, etc. with materials. -Maintain cleanliness of the yard & plant. -Operate heavy equipment daily (forklift, street sweeper, bulldozer, etc.) -Operate hand and power tools daily. -Possess a positive attitude & outlook. -Work well with all types of individuals. Schedule is 5:30AM-2:00PM, Monday-Friday (Some Saturday shifts may be required) *Overtime may be available *Punctuality is a MUST $17-$20/HR - DOE *Wage is directly linked to employee’s experience and further ability to learn and successfully maintain critical machinery for production processes. *Any experience in the industry or with heavy machinery is greatly preferred, although ALL experience levels are encouraged to apply! *DCS will provide any additional training for duties if needed.
