Description
I had a black Jansport backpack stolen from me on Voltaire street Thursday night/morning 10/13. I took a rest after midnight on a sidewalk near a small parking lot and a gentleman saw me, and sat down with me and started talking to me.
I also seen him with my backpack in Robb Field later in the morning.
He refused to let me have it, stating others have same backpack.
This one was 100% mine, and stolen from me.
Contents in backpack was a small, well used Bible with notes and circled verses. An Altoids tin can with a.925 silver chain, nail clippers, bottle opener, watch battery, and two very small screw drivers. Also an assortment of pens and sharpies were in smaller front pocket.
My old iPod with over 15,000 photos dating back to 1998. Many of them thoroughbred horses. My cat I owned. Various other photos. I'm upset at losing it.
I also had a book on Ephesians with many personal notes, and papers I've written down over the years. Food, animals, sports, weather, and some jokes.
I also had purchased a book on the book of Philippians on Thursday that was in there.
I also had a portable power pack charger for a cell phone, which also happened to be in the backpack.
I'm aggravated that this person would target someone, take the backpack, and blatantly flaunt, and lie about it. Other personal Documents with my name were also in this backpack.
Medication for my thyroid which I take daily was also inside.
Backpack also contained a clipboard with a sheet of stickers with the number 3.
Also, a dark gray t-shirt with the word Morzine was quite possibly in it, although I might have lost that earlier.
A Kenwood car stereo. Those this ones you pop in.
Strong possibility items were picked through, and whatever was not wanted, or seen as worth anything was thrown away, or left behind. And bag kept, traded, or sold.
I also lost my monthly Pronto bus pass for October.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
