I am currently looking for two crew members for the upcoming 22/23 Dungeness crab season out of Eureka, CA. The job involves long hours in, at times, uncomfortable conditions. An ideal candidate is someone who can work under pressure, physically fit and has a positive attitude. No experience is needed, however at least some time on the water is preferred. My boat is currently fishing live rockfish out of Half Moon Bay, and will also be fishing year round for salmon, rockfish, sablefish and possibly ice tuna. If you work out after crab season there is potential for a full time crew position. Gear work on the crab traps is intended to start Nov 1st in Eureka, Ca with an expected season opener probably around Jan 1st 2023. If you already have employment leading up to the actual start date, I am willing to be flexible on the gear work scheduling.
