Do you want to learn more about Zemax and other optical simulation software? Are you an optical engineer or a system engineer or a researcher doing optical system design?
I would like to form a meetup group to get together and share knowledge about optical simulation. Through this group we can talk about tricks we may know, and discuss things we would like to know more about with this software.
Other optical software could be included, but let's see if we can form a group to discuss Zemax.
If you are interested, or know someone that might be interested, reply to this post and let's make contact.
If we get enough interest, I will start a formal Meetup group online.
I have posted this as an event start date, but we can arrange a meeting at any time and not worry about this advertisement.
Location would be physically somewhere near Acton, MA, or generally near Boston, MA.
However, we could also meet via video conference too, so you don't need to live in the Boston area to join this.
Other simulation software also of interest would be Code V, Lighttools, Matlab, etc.
It is not a requirement that you have a full license of some optical software to join this group, but it sure would help.
