Description
TCLT has an opening for a part-time and full-time Maintenance Worker that will maintain and repair components of building common elements, systems and facilities under the direction and supervision of the Site Manager.
SUMMARY OF OFFICE OPERATIONS:
● Follow any job guidelines, job descriptions or policy manuals provided by the Site Manager, Board of Directors and/or its Managing Agent.
● He/She will perform overall maintenance and upkeep of the community in order to enhance and maintain its appeal.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Assist in maintenance and repair of structural, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical:
○ light bulbs & fixtures
○ lube, repair, install door hinges, locksets, and closers
○ clear clogged drain lines
○ repair/rebuild/replace toilet valve assemblies, shower heads, faucet assemblies
○ repair/replaced electrical outlets and switches
○ maintain Association equipment
○ paint different materials or components
● Perimeter maintenance including grounds cleanup and palm leaf removal
● Assist in repair of damage sprinklers
● Empty and change trash bags around the community and at recreation center
● Pool maintenance including chemical balance, cleaning, pump and filter maintenance.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
● Ability to understand basic written and oral directions, including sensitivity to communicate effectively with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds
● Be able to work as a team or independently without supervision
● Pool maintenance experience is a plus
● Irrigation experience
QUALIFICATIONS:
● Minimum High school diploma or high school equivalency certificate
COMPENSATION:
● Competitive hourly rate including comprehensive medical benefits and paid vacation for full-time employees
● Employment immediately after approval.

● 8 hour shift
