We are looking for a reliable General Handyman to preserve the good condition and functionality of a townhome community in Kaneohe. You will be tasked with daily work orders to include: manual repairs, changing lightbulbs, landscaping, scrape/treat/paint wooden railings, etc. A General Handyman is a thorough professional with a practical mind and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and responsibly by observing all health and safety guidelines. The goal is to maintain the buildings and common areas in the best possible condition. Responsibilities Survey buildings to ensure they are consistent with health and safety standards Perform maintenance of electrical systems (replace light bulbs, casings, etc.) Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows etc.) Conduct general upkeep procedures (e.g. landscaping) and other tasks as assigned (painting, carpentry etc.) Complete daily logs of work orders and procure a weekly report. Skills Basic experience as a handyman/groundskeeper Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills Good physical condition and strength High school diploma or equivalent; Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field will be a plus Good attitude/team player Monday - Friday 8:00am - 1:00pm (5 hour shift) 25 hours a week Please email [email protected] with a your resume and a short bio about yourself.
