33yr old Male umbrella cockatoo Marco is super social and sweet. However he is a typical cockatoo, and can get jealous, over stimulated, and loud. Unfortunately his owners living situation changed with age, and we inherited him/were fostering him for a while. We have a flock of smaller birds ourself, and he just hasn't been settling in well with the divided attention. It's too chaotic for him. We love him, but he needs someone who can focus on *him* more. While he's safe and loved and were in no rush to hand him off, it's clear he isn't thriving with us and we aren't a good long term fit. We have permission from his original owner to handle rehoming him on their behalf. He comes with a sleep cage, toys, food, and some perches. Would do best in a home where he can get more 1x1 attention, and be with and around his people for a good chunk of the day. I wouldn't say no other animals, but I know he doesn't like our cat (even if he hears her meow, it triggers him and hell get bitey with us), and we haven't tried introducing him to our other birds due to size differences.
