Description
Hello to the person reading this post.
I wish I didn't have to rehome my 5-year-old Chihuahua/Russel Terrier mix but due to changing circumstances, I feel it's the best option for him. He is vaccinated and neutered. His rabies vaccine is up to date. The reason I am rehoming him is because of the behavioral traits he has displayed.
He has angry, territorial episodes at night from time to time. The episodes occur when he is extremely tired, and I try to crate him at night since I have a cat too. I have found ways to avoid them, but they still happen. I walk him right before crating him and if I let him lay down in his bed, it's hard to get him upstairs. I also suspect that he might have trouble seeing occasionally.
I would love for someone who is experienced in dog training to adopt him, just so I feel confident that he'll get the extra help he needs.
Overall, he is a good boy who would make a great companion for someone who has the time to put in the work for him.
No cats!
No other dogs!
