New Brighton United Methodist Church JOB DESCRIPTION: We are actively seeking a Christ following musician to add to our worship team. Specifically we are looking for a pianist/keyboardist to add to our team, though other instrumentalists are encouraged to apply. We are seeking the right person more than anything. JOB DUTIES: -Provide music for our worship services each Sunday (9 am & 11 am) -Perform at weekly concert series, Tuesday Tunes -Provide music for occasional special events -Collaborate with Music Director and Worship team to help build a strong worship experience -Work with Music Director to make recordings for our online presence -Do necessary preparation for rehearsals and performances JOB QUALIFICATIONS: -Follower of Christ -Skilled musician with performance experience -Solid understanding of music theory and standard song structures -Music Degree is preferred, but not required Compensation - $150 per week/ $7,800 per year If interested, please respond with contact information, resume/cv, and short cover letter detailing experience.
