Lead Installer (Modular Walls - Contract) Job Type: Contract Pay: Hourly Rate, starting at $18 Location: Throughout US Position Struct Productions is seeking a contract-based Wall Lead for the upcoming Miami Art Week, 11/7 - 12/10, to help with a number of Art Fair builds. This position works under the supervision of the Director of Operations and Production Coordinator in all logistic aspects of pre-production to onsite execution. This is an opportunity to be part of a committed team that brings to life some of the biggest productions in the US through construction, fabrication, and event management. Responsibilities Reading construction plans Supervising on top of the scaffold Screwing brackets into walls Managing the equipment and modular wall panels Review bracketing system to delegate to your team Desired Qualifications Proficient in reading plans Independent self starter Must be able to manage and lead 4 other employees Ability to problem solve and work on the fly Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs General knowledge of carpentry Any Expo, Stagehand or Trade Show experience a plus Requirements ● Minimum of 3 years experience in live events/entertainment/production ● Ability to read and understand construction plans/drawings to delegate to staff ● Flexibility to work non-traditional hours (nights & weekends) as required ● Ability to travel for varying periods of time Company Struct is an event production company and fabrication house that specializes in the construction and transformation of temporary spaces.
