Help! - should plans to Miami be canceled...?

Hello, I am currently traveling from TX to FL this couple weeks and was wondering if I should give up on going to Miami (or most of east coast of the peninsula) which is planned for next week... Anyone there, please share if you think it’s okay to stick to my plans or I should not come yet...? (I would’ve changed my plans if I didn’t have the flights booked to Asia from there...) Any thoughts, opinions, suggestions regarding the weather now, damage since Hurricane and all will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
