General Laborer -- Fire Apparatus /Ambulance Dealership Looking for a secure long-term position? Immediate full-time opening in Elkridge, MD for a dependable laborer in a 69-year recession-proof Emergency Vehicle Dealership. The general laborer role is to assist the operations of the Service and New Delivery departments and keep each department functioning smoothly on a daily basis. This role reports directly to the Operations Manager and takes additional direction from the Service Manager and others in Upper Management, as needed. Various Responsibilities: Assist with operations as needed on a daily basis including vehicle washing and detailing, lot maintenance, facility maintenance and cleaning, local driving to procure parts or assist with vehicle transport, shipping and receiving, etc... Must be able to work in various weather conditions as some activities are outdoors. Paid vacation, paid holidays, health insurance plans, 401K, and profit sharing. This is your perfect job if you have a love for big red trucks and flashing lights. Applicant must be serious, hard-working and dependable. Not addicted to drugs or a cell phone. Must have reliable transportation with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record. (Commercial Driver's License [CDL] and a forklift certification are a plus!)
