No need for fancy yoga pants or equipment, water will be available and mats will be provided to use during class time. We will enjoy guided meditations, move together with yoga under the trees, and share tea together in fellowship. Simply show up as yourself (and maybe bring a mug for the tea) ready to connect more deeply with nature. When: First Sunday of the Month at 9am Cost: Pay what you can, if you can. Suggested donation of $5 (Proceeds go toward the purchase of new community use yoga props, and tea) Where: Shingle Creek Regional Park on Babb rd. We will meet under the large oak tree to the north of the Pioneer Village. Use the paved parking lot in front of the village for closest access. What to bring: Just yourself. Mats are provided. Feel free to bring your own mat if you have one, or any props you might like to use. Also, a mug for tea and fellowship. RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY (READ CAREFULLY) Must be 18 or older to participate (14 and up with a parent present). By purchasing a ticket, I understand that yoga includes physical movements as well as an opportunity for relaxation, stress re-education and relief of muscular tension. Participation in yoga class includes, but is not limited to, meditation techniques, yoga breathing techniques and performing various yoga postures. Yoga is designed to exercise every part of the body-stretching and toning the muscles and joints, spine and the entire skeletal system. Yoga incorporates sustained stretching to strengthen the muscles and increase flexibility. As in the case with any physical activity, the risk of injury, disability or death, is always present. If I experience any pain or discomfort, I will listen to my body, adjust the posture and ask for support from the instructor. Yoga is not recommended and is not safe under certain medical conditions. This class involves outdoor physical activity in warm weather conditions. Those with medical conditions should obtain approval from their attending physician before participating in this class. By signing this agreement, participants with health conditions are confirming that they have consulted with an appropriate physician and received clearance to participate. I am participating in the yoga class at my own risk. In consideration of being permitted to engage in the above activity, I hereby ASSUME THE RISK OF PERSONAL INJURY OR DEATH AND I, FOR MY HEIRS, EXECUTORS, REPRESENTATIVES AND ADMINISTRATORS, HEREBY AGREE TO IRREVOCABLY RELEASE, HOLD HARMLESS, WAIVE AND FOREVER DISCHARGE BAREFOOT, THE CITY OF KISSIMMEE, INSTRUCTOR, AGENTS, AND REPRESENTATIVES FROM ANY AND ALL LIABILITY, CLAIMS, DEMANDS, DAMAGES, EXPENSES, FEES, SUITS, PROCEEDINGS, CAUSES OF ACTION, COST OF ACTIONS, INCLUDING ATTORNEY’S FEES, FOR TRIAL AND APPEAL, WHICH I MAY HAVE AGAINST THEM ARISING OUT OF OR IN ANY WAY CONNECTED WITH MY PARTICIPATION IN THE ACTIVITY LISTED ABOVE. I UNDERSTAND THAT THIS RELEASE AND WAIVER INCLUDES ANY CLAIMS BASED ON NEGLIGENCE, GROSS NEGLIGENCE, ACTIONS, OR INACTIONS OF BAREFOOT GNOME, THE CITY OF KISSIMMEE, ITS EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND/OR REPRESENTATIVES. I HAVE READ THIS CONTRACT/WAIVER BEFORE PURCHASING A TICKET.
