Connect Outdoors: Redgate Park HikeJoin Blue Star Volunteer Danielle Roessle for a hike at Redgate Park We will walk around Redgate Park, which is a former golf course turned city park. There are a lot of paved trails that were used for golf carts. We will plan on walking for about an hour. The walk is rated easy, although there are a few hills. Due to the moderate pace of this walk, kids in strollers or backpacks are preferred. Dogs are permitted on leashes, so feel free to bring your furry friend if they are friendly. After we are done with the walk, we can grab lunch in Rockville Town Center. What to Prepare: Please wear sturdy footwear and bring water. There are bathrooms at the trailhead. Parking Situation: There is a large parking lot when you arrive. Danielle will be carrying a sign that says "Blue Star Families". Please register today so we know how many to expect.
