Displaced recently, due to water intrusion in our condo from roof damage, post Hurricane Ian rain storms and a 7 days to vacate notice sent to all residents of our condo building, we are ISO immediate, secure, temporary and more importantly, affordable housing. Searching for possible temporary housing options such as, camper/RV, pool/guest house, mother in law suite, snowbird/vacation rental cancellation, Air BNB/VRBO owners willing to discount their seasonal rates, house sitting opportunities or other possible options not yet considered, while we catch our breath for a moment and search for our new home. A cat free, smoke free, quiet and private environment is preferred. We are a professional couple, with no kids or pets, living and working in Cape Coral. He is a disabled military veteran with a stable career. She is an artist who works from home. Please know that we have already contacted the typical local and regional disaster resources that we can think of. Being new to Florida and running out of options, we are nearing the end of our 7 days without success. While we are in a seriously, immediate and verifiable need, we are not interested in any type of "help " which comes with strings attached.
