We are learning to navigate a time that was much different from the world that we grew up in! Outside free time and playing cards have been replaced with Tik-Tok, Snap Chat, texting, and playing video games. Coming out of the last two years we all had a bit more time in front of screens than we would have liked…but now we are ready for some changes - for ourselves and our kids! Parents of 4th-8th graders, please join us at the middle school on October 25 at 5:30pm for a conversation about screen time, social media, setting boundaries and creating community norms around these. Ivan and Lindsey will lead us through a discussion and offer some ideas to help families feel empowered and walk away with a different understanding. If you attended the first meeting about this, take a night off.
