We welcome our guest, Gus Thornton, Sr. Estimator with Sun Construction & Facility Services. Also an officer in the Army Reserves, Gus will bring Geopolitical knowledge with him, and will tie the effects of that knowledge into a cost and schedule discussion. Gus has been the Sr. Estimator for Sun Construction for just over 6 years, and cost estimating for just under 17 ½ years.  He holds a bachelor's of science degree in Aerospace Engineering from CU Boulder, and in the Army Reserves for 26 years. Gus has worked on bids/cost estimating for hundreds of projects, but probably the best known one to our group would be the hotel and transit center project at DIA in 2014-2015.
