Community Health Conversation: Challenges to Health for the Homeless

Description

Individuals that experience homelessness have restricted access to the healthcare services they need and face challenges to finding appropriate and lasting housing due to a number of barriers. Each participant will have equal opportunity to share their direct experience and/or work with the homeless population to inform future priorities and access existing resources. Community partners attending are encouraged to bring materials related to their work with the homeless to offer direct assistance and share during networking opportunities. Community partners are encouraged to invite clients who are or have experienced homelessness to attend and participate.
