Team Leader - Delivering & Picking up furniture from events

We are looking for a freelancer to help us with our delivery & pick-up operations! This is not your typical warehouse job: you will be leading a team in prepping orders as well as getting to know all the unique venues of South Florida with options for occasional traveling to our other locations in Texas and New York. We are an event furniture rental company providing unique furniture for conferences, tradeshows, and special events in Miami, New York, and Austin. We are looking for an individual to run and execute our ongoing deliveries and pick-ups of our Miami location. This includes leading teams in-house and out on the field setting up the furniture at hotel poolsides, rooftops, unique venues, and the million-dollar private mansions of Miami Beach. **Box truck driving experience is a must** Job Responsabilities: Warehouse Organization - Keeping the warehouse clean and organized and furniture stored correctly. Prepping Orders - Get familiar with our inventory and how to inspect, clean, and wrap each piece. Leading the Team on delivery/pick up - Operate a truck and delivery crew on location, know how to handle time management, and how to handle any issues that might come up. Other responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Moving and pulling furniture in and out of the warehouse, wrapping and loading furniture to trucks, unloading furniture, pushing furniture to the event location, setting up the furniture on location, painting and touching up furniture, drilling, task planning, point of contact for our clients. What we require from you: Since you will be driving a large truck, we will need you to have truck driving experience (clean and valid driver's license). The event industry has a year-round season, so we will need you to be able to work flexible hours. This means that you will be working during the day as well as some nights, weekends, and holidays. You will be meeting the customer during the delivery so we expect you to have a friendly and helpful attitude. Open to travel to different delivery locations like Naples, Orlando, Austin, NYC.
