We are looking for Solar Install technicians to become part of an innovative, team-oriented and rapidly growing solar energy company. Position description: Technicians will perform basic to advanced duties relating to the installment, assembly, deployment and maintenance of electrical equipment and components on solar and solar-based products. Roofing or electrical experience is a plus. We will train on the job. Must be willing to learn and work in a team setting, Travel Position Requirements:. Ideal candidate will have solid trouble-shooting skills; possess strong interpersonal communication skills and have the ability to converse at multiple levels. Individual must have a technical foundation and possess the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment to complete objectives. Have the ability to install and assemble electrical wiring, equipment, apparatus and fixtures using appropriate tools. Candidates must be highly motivated, a self-starter and comfortable working with minimum supervision. Wiring and diagnosis of electrical devices Hands-on fabrication, installation of systems and associated hardware Familiar with electrical safety protocols Experience as a roofer or a similar role in construction. Excellent carpentry skills. Physical strength and good balance. Ability to work at heights for long hours.
