POSITION OVERVIEW FULL TIME - WITH BENEFITS - PAID TIME OFF - NO WEEKENDS - NO HOLIDAYS At Daffy Ducts, our Sales Technician Assistants are vital to our field teams and assist our Lead Sales Technicians in performing all our services. As a Sales Technician Assistant, you are responsible for assisting our Lead Sales Technicians in customer service, job execution and quality, field sales, and the operation of your assigned business unit (truck) You will assist your team lead with all tasks as it relates to running your assigned business unit and customer satisfaction. You will be empowered to take ownership of your work and be expected to maximize productivity and efficiency. You are crucial to our success because you are our in-person connection to our customers and are charged with keeping your team moving! The work you do directly impacts the vitality of our business; your work determines whether our customers decide to become repeat customers or go elsewhere. Internally, you play a key role in keeping our customers happy. As a Sales Technician Assistant, you can progress to a Lead Sales Technician, a SR Sales Technician, Field Training management positions, Field Manager positions or move laterally within the company. You are an ideal candidate for this role if you have a strong commitment to team goals as well as customer satisfaction, take initiative, and have a “can-do” attitude. You will excel in this role if you are comfortable working with your hands a lead with a servant's heart. You will enjoy this position if you can work independently but enjoy working with a teammate, are self-driven, reliable, and ready for a challenging role with less micromanagement and more autonomy and empowerment. POSITION REQUIREMENTS Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED. Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license with good driving history; employees must possess and maintain reliable personal transportation in order to meet their teammate at the pickup point or office. Must successfully pass background check and drug screening. Previous Experience: Some work experience in a Duct Cleaning, HVAC, or a comparable hands-on trade a plus and one year of experience showing proven success in customer service. Industry-related apprenticeships, internships, or other forms of work study may be used in lieu of traditional work experience. Expertise: General knowledge of HVAC systems, ductwork/duct cleaning, and sales. Working knowledge of computer and mobile technology. Intellectual Skills: Strong Commitment to Customer Satisfaction, Critical Thinking, Effective Listening, Time Management, Collaboration, Prioritization, Adaptability, Strong Communication skills, Problem Solving, etc. Budgeting a plus. Physical/Tactical Skills: Able to lift/move up to 50lbs and up to 100lbs with assistance and work in narrow spaces repeatedly throughout the workday. Able to use large pieces of equipment and hand tools daily, solid mechanical aptitude. Must access and work in crawlspaces, attics, and roofs daily. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Occasionally drive your Company vehicle to and from your assigned location to all assigned jobsites in a safe manner following all driver safety training tips, tricks and protocols. Assist your Lead with completing daily vehicle inspections following current standards of operating procedure. Assist your Lead with maintaining your Company vehicle in a clean and organized manner, taking care to secure all equipment and valuables at all times. Assist your Lead with keeping an accurate account of all tools, equipment, and supplies. Assist your Lead with performing all Home Health and Safety Reports as required following current standards of operating procedure. Communicate your findings during the Home Health and Safety Report Inspection to your Lead and provide any estimate suggestions that may meet the customer’s home’s needs. Act with integrity and class throughout your interaction with our customers and coworkers. Help your Lead develop jobsite procedures for your team. Perform assigned services following current service standards and techniques. Meet goals and fulfill duties as assig Act with care while performing services in customer’s homes and buildings. Maintain clean and neat work areas and avoid actions that could cause harm or damage to their property. Keep customer satisfaction top of mind in all we do. Communicate with your Lead in a kind, respectful manner in order to foster a sense of comradery and open communication standards. Continue to develop yourself through additional training and team development. Assist your Lead with all jobsites work as needed while always anticipating the next move. Focus additional energy into learning the duties of the Lead so that when needed you can move into a Lead role. Align work behavior with company mission and values. Maintain a professional, well-groomed appearance and positive demeanor. Complete any mandatory training or development required for your role. Follow all company policies and procedures. Respond to difficult or challenging customer or teammate interactions in a professional, calm, and mature fashion; making sure to advise management if ever you feel uncomfortable or unsafe.
