Description

During the holiday season, the Department of Water Resources is more likely to see an increase in sanitary sewer overflow as a result of increased FOG consumption. Come learn what FOG is, why it is a problem, and how you can prevent it so you can have an uninterrupted holiday season. Learn from a hands-on demonstration of cooking and cleaning how the proper disposal of fats, oils, and grease in our kitchens can help protect our water resources outside. Free and open to the public. Due to high demand, registration is recommended for this workshop.
