Singer/songwriter looking to start a band

I'm an experienced vocalist with humble guitar skills and love for artful, collaborative storytelling. Ideally, potential band mates (guitar/drums/bass/keys?) will be far more musically talented than me, so I can focus on lyrics and vocals. Shooting for an alt folk rock vibe that occasionally goes hard and/or gets trippy. Never done the band thing before but I'm 35 and figure better late than never. Would love to rehearse once a week (maybe twice as things progress) and line up some local gigs as soon as we get a handful of originals.
