Long time pro jazz vocalist needs pianist, bass player, drummer or percussionist, and sax player to form a cohesive band. This opportunity is for young musicians, high school and college age players who are hungry, eager to work, want to gain experience, and are able to take direction. In case anyone reading this post is thinking I’m just one more singer looking for a band because I can’t play an instrument myself, then you’d be mistaken as I’m an excellent jazz pianist and stylist, but I need to be out in front and can’t do that sitting on a piano bench. So young lions and lionesses, here’s an opportunity for you and let’s get to work. Go to the head of the line if you understand the term “less is more” as it applies to jazz.
