that you actually prefer to use "ear and memory" (as I enjoy doing) You are the musician that is usually 'overqualified'
for your fellow players,or..you actually play/have played with true higher -level players. I'm a guitarist/vocalist (multi-inst)
that will appreciate your skills/talent and vice versa. Think jazz-blues/prog-funk---Robben Ford,Steely Dan 'feel',etc
