Drummer looking for Metal/Grunge/Hard Rock musicians

Hey, I am looking for some like minded musicians to jam, create a band or join an existing outfit to play some heavy tunes in the vein of Alice in Chains, Black Label Society, Shadows Fall, Lamb of God, Black Sabbath, Opeth, Mastodon etc. I have gear (acoustic and electric kits) and am looking to get together one to two times a week and see what can happen. Possibility to play at my place at controlled volume (V-drums) but would prefer a rehearsal space or house where noise isn't a concern. Willing to contribute for the right project. I've been playing drums for over 20 years and primarily play funk, soul and groove oriented mid tempo styles, but am looking to delve into heavier and faster music with the right group. I frequent many metal concerts in the area and love the intensity and precision the music demands. Down to meet up for a beer and chat first or jump into a jam, weekdays preferred after 430. \m/ I'll be at Hatebreed and Cannibals Corpse shows in SF next month.
