Busy mechanical company in Las Vegas is seeking experienced pipe installers knowledgeable in installation of black iron pipe, copper up to 3" and P.V.C. (plumbers and fire sprinkler pipe installers encouraged to apply) This position requires the installation of piping systems for commercial heating and cooling systems and fluid controlled equipment. A qualified candidate should have their own small hand tools, be able to read, interpret and layout daily work schedules from shop drawings and engineered plans/blue prints. Candidates should have knowledge and experience with various types of fittings: Victaulic, Propress, grooved and threaded. Have experience installing ranging from setting hangars, cutting length, and maneuvering in tight areas. Candidates should have the ability to solder, braze, weld, fit, glue, hang at high elevations and tight surroundings. Have knowledge and ability to operate lifts, ladders, and trade associated equipment. Candidates must have the ability to lift or carry 20 to 50lbs, bend, stand, hold above head, squat, crawl, and climb. Candidates must have reliable transportation, the ability to work day and night shifts, some Saturdays. Candidates must also be willing to work 8, 10, up to 12 hours shifts if necessary.
