We are a national staffing agency seeking professional, punctual, reliable staff for a large convention in Grapevine at the Gaylord Texan. DATES: Sunday, October 23 – Thursday, October 27 AVAILABLE POSITIONS: Badge Scanner – staff will use a scanning device to scan attendee badges as they enter the session to track attendance and CE credits. Must be able to stand for extended periods. Session Facilitator – • Perform an A/V set-up check before the first session of the day to confirm that the projector and microphones are functioning properly. They are not responsible for fixing any issues, they just need to be able to ascertain if there are any and then contact the A/V staff if so. • Operate a smartphone with a scanner ‘sled’ attached in order to scan all attendees at the door to their session room. Training will be provided on the scanning app and procedure. • Hold up time cards to let the speakers know how much remaining time they have. • Conduct a sweep of the room after a session has ended to check for left personal property and then tidy up and reset the room for the next session. AVAILABLE SHIFTS: Sunday, October 23, 2022 – 1:00pm-5:00pm (TRAINING – those who can attend training will be given preference for conference shifts. Most likely will not last more than 2 hours, but staff will be paid for 4 hours). Monday, October 24, 2022 – 7:00am-9:00am – Badge Scanner – Staff paid for four hours (as long as they arrive on time) Monday, October 24, 2022 – 10:00am-5:00pm – Session Facilitator Monday, October 24, 2022 – 7:00am-5:00pm/7:00am-8:00pm/10:00am-8:00pm – Hybrid/Double Shift Badge Scanner and Facilitator – Staff will be paid straight through the shift at the $22.00 hourly rate. Monday, October 24, 2022 – 5:00pm-8:00pm – Badge Scanner – Staff paid for four hours (as long as they arrive on time) Tuesday, October 25, 2022 – 7:00am-4:00pm – Session Facilitator Tuesday, October 25, 2022 – 3:00pm-7:00pm – Badge Scanner Wednesday, October 26, 2022 – 7:00am-4:00pm – Session Facilitator Wednesday, October 26, 2022 – 3:00pm-7:00pm – Badge Scanner Thursday, October 27, 2022 – 7:00am-4:00pm – Session Facilitator Thursday, October 27, 2022 – 3:00pm-7:00pm – Badge Scanner Thursday, October 27, 2022 – 6:00pm-midnight – Badge Scanner ATTIRE: All black, business professional attire, such as black pants or skirt, black long sleeved button down dress shirt or nice blouse with black blazer or cardigan, and closed toed comfortable black shoes. NO JEANS. PAY: $20.00 per hour for Badge Scanners, $22.00 per hour for Session Facilitators/Hybrid, W2 position, paid out following week via Direct Deposit.
