Description
Are you looking for a high earning, simple job with maximum flexibility and commission-based pay? Are you looking for a lucrative and fun side hustle that allows you to work on your own terms? Declutter USA provides free pick-ups of unwanted items to residents of various American metro areas. Those items are then sold and donated to local and online businesses. Hiring independent contractors is Declutter USA’s next step forward as we are experiencing rapid growth and high demand for pick-ups. Job Description: Responsibilities for an independent contractor for Declutter USA include organizing, picking up, delivering, and selling items to local and online businesses, all on your own time. Common items include clothes, jewelry, books, toys, décor, kitchen items, and more. The typical contractor will not be expected to deal with furniture or unusable items, though Declutter USA does offer services to pickup furniture and garbage for a fee. If contractors are willing, this is an option that is available as well. The time commitment is close to none. Contractors are expected to have at least two days during the week where they will be consistently available for some period of time so that clients can dependably schedule their pickups within your time blocks. Pickups are almost always available to contractors, so contractors often work more often than is required. The more time contractors commit, the more income they will generate for themselves. The organizing, selling, and delivering of items is done at the contractor’s discretion. With extensive knowledge of the business, Declutter USA provides all independent contractors with information about the most lucrative and efficient methods of selling in Helena. With its meaningful connections with business owners in your local area, Declutter USA can also connect you to the highest-paying businesses and individuals in the area with each specific item. Information on where to donate specific items that cannot be sold will also be provided. Within these frameworks is some flexibility: there are often many methods of selling some items. The choice of methods is in the hands of the independent contractor. In return, independent contractors will receive 50% of the revenue from sales, keep 100% of the tips they receive for picking up donations (which typically range from $30 to $50), and an additional $10 for every pickup they complete. In the past, the most committed contractors make anywhere from 500 to 1000 dollars a day. Ultimately, however, how much you earn is up to you. The business is lucrative with huge earning potential, depending on how much time one is willing to commit to the service. Independent contractors will make a payment of 50% of the sale profit each time they make a sale via Venmo. An active Venmo account is required to be a contractor for Declutter USA. Contractors will provide a description of the item(s) sold and where they were sold in the text of the Venmo payment. If this sounds like an intriguing position for you, don’t hesitate to inquire!
