Description
WHAT THIS JOB IS: This is a temporary side gig that pays by the job, in the amount of $3,840, for work that will be done over a 4-month period of time (16 wks). I have 3 offices in an office complex (including an office that's just meant for misc. storage). I will be downsizing and consolidating all three of the offices to eliminate one office...... and will need someone to help me. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: Carrying small items in boxes/ using a dolly to stack small boxes push them down a hall from one office to the other/ help me sort papers/ once in a while running errands to the store, etc (gas $ given)/ some very boring parts while you just wait for me to make decisions and think things through/ ETC. MORE TO KNOW: * This person should have their own car/be able to follow instruction well/ be able to handle making basic phone calls to stores to inquire about things, etc./ speak and understand English very well. * You can bring your lunch snacks and drinks. No bananas please. (LOL..A ridiculous request I realize) No cups without a lid. Microwave is available. Casual clothes are best. It will be chilly as winter is coming, but we will be moving much of the time, and inside of offices, even when outside the office the hallways are covered. HOW JOB IS PAID AND WHO WOULD LIKELY BENEFIT FROM IT: This is a unique situation, and not for everyone. The amount you will be paid is for the overall job. This is not a job that pays by the hour. For this particular deal, you will not be earning very much per the amount of time you will spend. However, in the end you will end up with $3,840 that you can do something with. (Both the amount of pay, and the amount of work have already been determined in advance. However, there will very likely also be a little extra work you can do as it comes up, only if you want to, and for additional money. So even though the $3,840 is "set", it's absolutely likely you will make a min. $4,000 by the end of the 4 mos). I've done this kind of "by the job deal" before and it worked out PERFECTLY for both myself and the person helping me. I'd really like to have "another" Win-Win situation just as before. So I'm hoping to find someone who will benefit from a deal like this, and I will benefit, as I cannot afford to pay more than this amount for this project, and need help! I'm thinking that this may be perfect for someone who is "not" currently working full-time, and will also not be "looking" for full-time work during this period of time, who would like to make an extra $3,840/$4,000 This might be perfect for: * A housewife/husband * Retired but a physically strong person able to lift and move boxes that are 10/25 lbs or so, who can walk fairly quickly with no problem. (I will have muscle coming on the weekends for the heavier things!) * A mother who has a sitter that you don't have to pay out of pocket for * A student with the right schedule? (One who has stamina and/or has "worked" before). (Note/IDEAS: This amount of money is enough to buy a used car or a good down payment on a more expensive used car. And did you know with this amount of money (no more!), 2 people can go to Rome, Italy for 10 days, including hotel, free daily banquet breakfast, and round trip airfare for both people, if you go during the Christmas season? (includes meals for each day, 12 major attractions) The Christmas season in Rome is GORGEOUS! If you went 2 or 3 weeks before Christmas next year, you could spend 10 full days and nights, possibly have layovers in Paris, and New York city (with enough time to pop out to see the Eiffel Tower, and Times Square!), and still be back in plenty of time to celebrate Christmas in the United States! While in Rome, see the Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain etc! I'm saying this, because I've done this myself, and I think people just don't realize how inexpensive it can be if you go at the right time of the year, and fly directly into Rome! Covid flight restrictions have been lifted now, as well. Just an idea! Of course, you can spend the money you earn from helping me in whatever way you'd like, it's your money! Just wanted to throw out a few ideas). (*Another idea? You could give this two-person trip to your spouse or girlfriend / boyfriend for a Christmas present 'this" year knowing that you will go "next" year. Plan and look forward to it all year!)
