Do you enjoy doing sales? We need someone to do sales when we have Pop-Ups. We have them somewhat randomly, at least once a month, but could easily look for and sign up for more if we had a dedicated person to staff them. Pop-Ups often times happen in: winery tasting rooms retail spaces (ie Sip and Shop events) event spaces (craft fairs) tech companies (often during their lunch break) The products are fine, handmade chocolates and candies. We are a boutique confectionary, known for making beautiful confections featuring local ingredients such as farmer's market fruits and locally crafted chocolate. Our products are all natural and most of the ingredients used are organic. We need you to be detail oriented and mindful with handling the packages of chocolates so that they stay looking nice and be professional and friendly in dealing with customers. We need you to be able have a car that you can use to transport the event stuff to and from the event, and we do give a mileage reimbursement. We pay a base wage plus commission. The idea candidate for this job is someone who: Has flexibility in their schedule Enjoys retail and customer service Is reliable Is looking for a few hours a week here and there You usually need to bring at least 1 folding table, 3-4 bins of products, a few display items and a couple of signs.
