Oasis Academy Parent Information Night THE VISION To educate the WHOLE child with high level comprehensive curricula, Christian influences, and a focus on individuality in a nature centric environment. THE EDUCATION Oasis International Academy is a program demarcated by rigorous academics infused with the organic grounding power of nature, emphasizing interpersonal communication skills and self-awareness. Traditional language arts, science, and mathematics curricula are inspired by the esteemed schools of Finland. Core classes are supplemented by Sign language, Russian, Mandarin and Handwork. An opt-in weekly 30 minute “Church Service” is provided by Pastor Justin of Nexus Church. Oasis school days are interwoven with lessons from Love and Logic which focus on gratitude, giving, meditation, and spiritual connection. An age integrated student experience facilitates the learning of compassion, empathy, and connection to others of all ages. Older students routinely interact with younger students with various hands-on projects and initiatives THE LEADERSHIP Oasis students are well served by 4 core teaches, 1 Head Master, and 2 teacher’s assistants. Educators are empowered with tools from Love and Logic in order to navigate the complex and expected behavioral needs of each student on an individual level. Supplemental Language and skills classes are made possible by parental contribution.
