As a production team member at our lobster processing plant, you will be an essential part of the company and the mission. The team members are the heart of the organization and drive positive culture. You will be responsible for the production and processing of lobster while upholding all food and safety standards. A Production Team Member has the following primary responsibilities: • Arrive on time to complete sanitation protocols and begin shift promptly at assigned time • Review cleanliness and functionality of assigned processing station • Pick cooked lobster meat, ensuring full extraction with no shell fragments • Inspect, package, and freeze ready to eat product • Box products for storage • Clean assigned processing station at the end of shift • Report safety or maintenance issues to supervisor as necessary • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment • Adhere to all food safety standards • Any additional duties to achieve the mission The ideal candidate: • Will bring a positive attitude to work every day • Has the ability to adapt, multitask and take feedback in a positive manner • Sees experience in a fast-paced environment as a plus • Can effectively work together in a small team with others • Works well with minimal supervision • Ability to stand for long periods • Ability to lift 50 lbs. • Ability to work quickly and safely conducting repetitive tasks • Is dependable and has reliable transportation Benefits: • Starting pay of $22 per hour • Paid time off • Health, dental, and vision insurance • Closed on seven major holidays • Opportunity to participate in the company’s ownership program • Growth potential with a start-up
