Description

Dominoe. A 2 year old (guesstimated by the vet.) He is neutered, has all his shots, is licensed with "docupet" and has his tags. He is in supreme health, ie: eyes, ears, poop, etc. We received Dominoe from another couple on Craigslist about 4 months ago. They told us he was a rescue from the Maricopa County Center and that he wss on the "E" list up there. They also said he was lab and some other breed but when they showed up at our house with him I could see right away he was a pit bull. They also mentioned he was a love bug, which he definately is, most of the time if he's not taking a nap in his pen-den, out on a walk or outside barking at the sky, razorbacks behind the wall or others sounds he hears. etc. If anything suddenly moves, he reacts instantly and wants to get it,, whether a leaf blowing, a quail flying off etc. We're older retired couple and didn't expect what we ended up getting. But I dont want to return him to a place like a shelter where he lives in a small pen 24/7 until his number is pulled. In the process of inquiring about a pro-training company to find out costs, length, etc. He's jumped our 50" high rear wall to get to me when I was behind the wall doing yard work. He came right to me and sat down. He hasn't done it since although I did have to build up that portion of wall about a foot higher. He'a house trained and knows the dog door well now. Flys through it full speed if he hears something outside. He DOES NOT chew things he's not supposed to, such as shoes, furniture or other items he knows aren't his to chew. He can only have super hard plastic toys. Anything else is fragments in minutes. Some of his behavior issues are pulling on walks, which he's slowly starting to get but watch out, if he sees another dog walker with dog(s) he pulls your arm off, or tries. This is a great dog, loyal as can be, just a too much for us at our age. Unlike the sellers on here, we are being honest about Dominoe and his behavior. We'd consider free with all his stuff, bowls food, toys leashes, etc to a good home and a person that can somewhat prove thats where he'd be. When we got him, he was with other dogs in that previous household and when we first got him, he could tolerate being around other dogs small and large, but his behavior has changed into wanting to approach or fight with other dogs. I dont know why but thats what has occured. Contact us if your interested in giving Dominoe a good home. We can exchange numbers and text from there. Thanks
