Building on the success of its first three distinguished Hall of Fame inductee classes, Northwest Classen High School has announced the latest group of outstanding alumni to be honored.
Five new distinguished alumni will be recognized and honored this fall for their outstanding lifetime accomplishments and contributions to society.
The 4th Annual Hall of Fame banquet and formal presentation of the Order of the Round Table Class is set for Friday, November 11th in Oklahoma City and will take place in Hudson Hall at the school.
This year’s Hall of Fame honorees are:
Brooke Cotter-Wells --- Class of ‘64Dr. George Thompson --- Class of ‘62Mike Allen --- Class of ‘74Ann Ackerman --- Class of ‘68Sean O’Grady --- Class of ‘77The Friends of Northwest Classen, an alumni organization that raises funds and assists students and faculty of the school, annually spearheads the Hall of Fame identification and selection effort which spans the school’s 65-year history and 18,000 alumni.
With the creation of a special Hall of Fame Committee, the Committee invested six months and hundreds of hours soliciting nominations of notable alumni, identifying the most qualified candidates from nearly 40 different nominees, then vetting each one individually to select the Hall of Fame Class for 2022.
