OKC Beautiful's Sustainability Social Hour is for those who love the environment and our city. Each session is centered around networking with those who have a passion for and want to learn more about environmental stewardship topics. Each session features a Q&A with a guest speaker. November's session features Sue Ringus, owner of Social Greenery. Social Greenery is an OKC-based business offering living potted Christmas tree rentals and succulent potting bars to add sustainability and convenience to celebrations. Sue purchased Social Greenery in late 2021 as an opportunity to provide more people with ways to live their values and add joy in easy ways -even during the holidays! To date, hundreds of Social Greenery trees have been donated after the holidays to beautify and reforest the metro through plantings by community groups, nonprofit organizations and families. In 2021 Social Greenery was the recipient of the OKC Beautiful President’s Special Recognition Award. All ages are welcome! You do not have to be 21+ to attend.
