After a weird and whacky summer of conflicts and Omicron the 11th BACon is ready to kick off. For 2022 we will back at the AMC Easton location. What's this mean? Comfy chairs! HUGE screens! and still the best BA, Agile, and Value Stream Content available in Central Ohio. Want to send a group of 10 or more? Reach out to chapter President, Brian Watson for group pricing options: [email protected] Format Refresher: Location: BACon 2022 will be held at the AMC Easton Theater. Given the uncertainty of pandemic rules. The theaters offer us the flexibility to expand or contract social distancing and space as needed. The ability to "project" speakers across multiple theaters also allows "popular" speakers to reach more people without having to close rooms. Format: the conference this year will be a blend of "breakout sessions" and hands on "workshop" sessions. We will not have a keynote speaker this year. Parking: Parking continues to be FREE! This should ease some of the entry/exit bottlenecks from the Downtown events and allow you to park anywhere at Easton. Lunch: Boxed lunches are back! Pandemic Rules: We will have to follow any facility, state, local etc. rules in effect on conference day. Please be flexible with us as we navigate the changing landscape and respect any restrictions we will need to enforce. As of September 1, Franklin County has eased back their recommendation for face masks. The Chapter Board encourages you to do you. If you want to wear a mask, please do. If you have not received your vaccine, we do ask that you mask up. Feeling ill, if you're feeling ill on conference day, we ask that you do not come. If this is the case, please reach out to someone on the board and we will roll your admission to 2023. Content: We will have a full slate of local, national, and thought leaders presenting content around Business Analysis, Product Ownership, Agile, and Emerging Tech. Rest assured there will be multiple learning option for you. Event App: Whova will be the conference app again in 2022. After registration be on the lookout for your code to login to this years event. Hands-on Workshops: We will have 2 small areas for collaborative/hands on sessions. As we get closer to the event, we will have more clarity on "rules" for these sessions. As an example, if a speaker asks attendees to mask up for their session, we will honor that. The benefit of having to move the conference, should result in the workshop areas not being so unbearably hot this year. Vendors: We already have a number of vendors signed up to sponsor the event. We cannot hold BACon without these wonderful, supportive companies. Hotels: There are a number of hotel options in Easton, we will announce a room block soon. CDU's/PDU's: as always, our sessions qualify for continuing education. Refund Policy: Unfortunately, we cannot provide refunds. If you cannot attend the event, we can either let you change attendees or we can roll your registration to next year.
