You are invited to join us at our monthly BIPOC Media and Communications Network Meetup. At this month's meetup, we will be joined by Micaela Schweitzer-Bluhm, Executive Director for The Maine Center for Public Interest Reporting and David Dahl, Editor, Maine Monitor. They will share in a brief overview of the organization and the Monitor's newest pursuits. We are looking for network participants who are interested in: exploring collaborations with other creators, using media to create narrative change for BIPOC communities, serving as mentors and sharing knowledge, skills, and resources within the network. A wide variety of talent is wanted: Television and print journalism, videographers, writers, podcasters, editors, bloggers, vloggers, photographers, producers, radio, web development and more.
