Biden is lowering gas prices?

Headline: ""Biden just took a big swing at lowering gas prices ahead of the midterm elections"" I'd call it a 'swing and a miss'. A BIG miss. Draining our Strategic Oil Reserves is the DUMBEST THING Biden could do, to 'lower gas prices'. First, it's not really lowering prices, but maybe a few cents. Second, it is severely damaging our MILITARY READINESS, in case of a real emergency. Third, when/if Biden ever decides to refill our Strategic Reserves, we'll be paying a much higher price to do that. The Strategic Oil Reserves are meant to supply our military with fuel, in case of a catastrophic enemy attack. They are NOT meant to temporarily lower gas prices immediately before an election. Even Barack Obama called this move "A GIMMICK" However, this political GIMMICK is creating serious National Security issues, by compromising our military readiness. I honestly thought Jimmy Carter was the worst president in our history, but Biden has blown that out of the water several times over.
