TWO DAY CONCEALED CARRY PISTOL IIThis is a two-day event involving one day of live fire and one day of force on force training.Ridgeline Training Center227 Miller Rd, Dalton, NH 03598https://www.ridgelineshooting.com/8:30am to 5:30pm each day.$400 per person – Please note there is a $200 deposit due on registration / $200 CASH due on first day of class.This is NOT a "beginners" weekend. Attendees should be prepared to work hard, play hard and learn vast amounts of information and techniques.DAY ONE SUMMARY:This course is designed to introduce the intermediate or advanced shooter to the art of defensive and practical pistol shooting. The focus will be on the use of cover and concealment, malfunctions, shooting on the move and unconventional shooting positions.Start time is 9:00am. Students are expected to arrive no later than 8:30am for set up and range safety briefing. (Please be on time! Your time is everyone else's time.)COURSE BREAKDOWN:- Range orientation- Firearms safety- Warm-up drills- Ready positions- Close quarters engagements- Drawing and re-holstering techniques - Reloading techniques and malfunction clearance drills- Search & scan / situational awareness- Single hand techniques (right and left and transitions)- Moving and shooting / shooting and moving- Failure drills - Turning and shooting- Cover versus concealment- Close range speed shootingEQUIPMENT LIST:-Quality functional semi-automatic pistol-5 magazines minimum (please arrive with magazines loaded!)-Minimum of 500 rounds of brass cased ammunition (no steel cased ammunition)- 5 rounds of dummy ammunition-Belt mounted holster / kydex holster (OWB, IWB, AIWB)—PLEASE NO flimsy nylon or cloth holsters. NO BLACKHAWK SERPA, UNCLE MIKE'S, FOBUS, or ALIEN GEAR, holsters. We do not allow ankle, small of the back, or shoulder holsters.We recommend: Blackpoint Tactical, Black Center Tactical, Dark Star Gear, C&G Holsters, Raven Concealment, G-Code, or Concealment Express.)-Magazine or loading device pouches / magazine carrier, etc.-Sturdy belt at least 1.5” wide -Footwear suitable for rapid movement and turning with good ankle support. -Clothing suitable for training in any weather – long pants – long sleeve shirt, hoodie or jacket for cold weather.-Wraparound eyewear, polycarbonate lenses or non-shattering prescription glasses -Electronic hearing protection preferred.-Notebook and pen for note taking-Humble willing to learn attitude- Lunch, snacks, hydration to last throughout the dayDAY TWO SUMMARY:This class is designed to introduce the intermediate shooter to the art of defensive and practical pistol shooting using both cover and concealment as well as decision making skills. Student will work various drills and techniques from behind cover, concealment, and obstacles from various distances, as well as working hallways, doorways, corners, and rooms. There will be extensive handheld and weapon mounted flashlight use and instruction on low light and no light techniques. This class will incorporate the use of UTM/Simunition/airsoft rounds and firearms in Force On Force scenarios. ALL UTM / SIMUNITION / AIRSOFT WEAPONS, AMMO, & HELMETS WILL BE PROVIDED. Students may bring their own airsoft guns and gear. (all guns and gear will be subject to inspection).Start time is 9:00am. Students are expected to arrive no later than 8:30am for set up and safety briefing. DAY TWO IS A NON LIVE FIRE EVENT! (It is best to run this class from your daily concealed carry method, or your LE duty rig.- Thick sweatshirt or hoodie, long pants, long sleeve shirt, scarf or neck wrap, tactical style or work style gloves (Mechanix, 5.11 etc), groin protection and medium sized towel. - Body armor, shin and forearm guards, groin protection, knee pads, elbow pads, and neck protection are optional but highly recommended.- Notepad and pen for taking notes.- Bag lunch, snacks and beverages to last the entire day(s)- An open mind, humble, willing to learn attitude!- Students who have their own airsoft gun may bring theirs and related accessories.THIS IS A NON LIVE FIRE EVENT!
