Very young kittens are cute and adorable, but if you need a good mouser, it's better to let a kitten mature a bit, and learn mousing from its mother... assuming the mother is a good mouser to begin with. Now any kitten will show an interest in playing with small furry creatures such as mice. But to actually be capable of catching and eating them, it takes a bit of training from Mom. So intead of 6-8 weeks old, it's best to pick them up at 10-12 weeks. These kittens were born September 17. They're just a month old. If you need a mouser, I'll keep them with their mother until they're three months old. All that time, they'll be handled and socialized as pets. Their mother will start bringing them mice about 6-8 weeks old, and by mid December, they'll be excellent hunters, and good pets. If you're interested in reserving a mouser, respond by email.
