Description

We are happy to announce we are sold out! Thank you for your support. If you would like to support future Unity Bar dinners please feel free to donate. -- The Cruz Reynoso Bar Association (CRBA) has the honor of hosting this year’s Unity Bar Dinner in conjunction with the Unity Bar affiliates: Asian/Pacific Bar Association of Sacramento (ABAS); Leonard M. Friedman Bar Association (LMFBA); South Asian Bar Association (SABA); Sacramento Filipino American Lawyers Association (SacFALA); SacLEGAL, Sacramento’s LGBTQ+ Bar Association; Wiley Manuel Bar Association (WMBA); and Women Lawyer’s of Sacramento (WLS). In honor of the late Justice Cruz Reynoso who passed away in May 2021, the theme of this year’s Unity Bar dinner will be a celebration of the lives and memory of those who continue to inspire and guide us after their passing, in the tradition of the Latin American holiday: Dia de los Muertos (The Day of the Dead). This year’s program will feature United States District Judge Ana de Alba (E.D. Cal.) as our Keynote Speaker. We will also have special remarks from our Unity Bar Founders, Judicial Appointments Secretary Luis Céspedes from the Office of the Governor; Jerry Chong from the Law Offices of Jerry L. Chong; and Judge Renard Shepard (Ret.). We are also thrilled to be presenting eight scholarships to local law students, as well as eight community service awards. We invite you to join us in celebrating diversity and inclusion in the Sacramento legal community! Please purchase your tickets early as they are limited!
