The Listening Circle on 11/9/22 is specifically for LGBTQ+ community members in or near Columbia Missouri. Across the state we will meet with mostly geographically-based groups. This Listening Circle very intentionally centers LGBTQ+ folks living near Columbia. This event is in-person and lunch will be provided. We sincerely appreciate your time and willingness to share your story with us. More details: PROMO's Team is hitting the road to meet with LGBTQ+ Missourians and families across the Show Me State. We want to hear from you--we want to know what makes you proud, what makes you hopeful, what discrimination you or your loved ones have faced, what fears you have about the future for LGBTQ+ Missourians, and what you hope PROMO's larger community should be doing to advocate on behalf of LGBTQ+ Missourians. Our Listening Circles have 4 goals, we will: Listen to and learn from the diverse lived experiences of LGBTQ+ Missourians.Translate that learning into a cohesive state-wide mobilization strategy to grow our intersectional, civically powerful statewide network of LGBTQ+ champions.Catalyze coordinated efforts to advance LGBTQ+ leaders into positions of influence.Coordinate state-wide efforts to defend our civil rights and advance policy that liberates the full spectrum of LGBTQ+ Missourians.
