BUILDING & CLAY Art Classes for KidsIn this course, students will build a structure, make furniture with wood, foam boards, metal, fabric, and leather; and make objects and animals with kiln firing clay. Class 1- Build a house/room with wood and foam boards. Class 2 - Make furniture with wood, cardboard, and fabrics. Class 3 - Collage with metal and fabrics on canvas boards for V-day. Class 4 - Sculpt mugs and vases with clay, and design handles. Class 5 - Sculpt animals with clay. Class 6 - Paint clay made in classes 4 & 5 with underglaze, glaze and build a character with wood and dress it with fabrics. Class 7 - 3D garden on foam board, paint trees on the wall and grass on the bottom, bushes, flowers, and garden animals.STEAM ACTIVITIES AND ART LESSONS Students will design, collage, paint, sculpt, and build with wood, foam boards, metal, fabrics, leather, and kiln firing clay.
