Singer-Songwriter Looking to Play music with others

I am a guitar player, mostly acoustic, looking to play some music with other like-minded people. I do a lot of recording and mixing, but what I'd like is to do more actual music playing. It would be cool to play casually with others who also like to write and play music, and maybe eventually play some gigs. I'm mainly into rock style music, punk, jazz.
