Chimmy 1 Y/O male Shollie (German Shepherd/Collie) We love Chimmy so much and it breaks out hearts to have to re home him due to having to move and downsize. Chimmy is a smart energetic dog, needing a yard and an equally energetic companion. He loves his walks, playing ball and most of all tug of war. He is great company on hikes, camping, or just plain enjoying an evening out back. Chimmy is good with anything and anyone he's familiar with. He can be very protective when it comes to strangers around his home. But a quick introduction and he's at ease. He lives with a cat and small child and are good with both. He also gets along well with most other dogs. He is crate trained and has had private training lessons so he knows basic commands but still requires a lot of work as he is easily distracted. Some of the areas still needing attention are the command "down" as he likes to jump up on us when he gets excited. He also likes to show affection by grabbing your arm or hand with his mouth (not hard but still a behavior that needs corrected). Not going to lie, like most children he can be a pita but is definitely worth it. He is still totally a big puppy that is super lovey. We seriously don't want to get rid of our dog, and we definitely do not want him to fall into the system of the humane society or shelters. We want to find the right forever home that will be invested in his training and activities and are certain you'll be sure to fall in love with him like we did.
