Description
What is regional system modeling for prevention? Modeling is both a tool and a community process that results in a community agreement on how much prevention resources are needed, of what type, and for whom. The goal for a regional system modeling process is to provide a tangible tool that informs future decisions on policy, programming and resources at both the County and State level that results in more households stable in their homes and less households entering homelessness. What is being asked of me?Given your current involvement as a Regional Kitchen Table Member and/or expertise of local homeless prevention specific efforts; the SHIP Collaborative is asking for your engagement in a series of modeling workshops that will conclude with a presentation at the Regional Kitchen Table to deliver the final modeling results and determine 2023 priorities. In addition to your time in workshops, modeling cohort participants will also be expected to: Commit to a small amount of pre-reading/preparation ahead of the planned sessions, Serve as both a critical thinker and champion on regional framework strategy on homelessness prevention through your sphere of influence, and Commitment to collaborate, review, support on the final presentation and planned discussion on implications and priorities for TC RKT in 2023.
