BIPOC (Black, Indigenous and People of Color) as well as others from historically underrepresented groups spend so much of their time minimizing their difference, erasing parts of their cultural identity that make them less palatable.
In this talk, we will discuss ways for BIPOC to give themselves permission to take up space and what allies can do to reconfigure spaces to make room for their hard truths and difficult conversations.
