About This Role As a Lead Installer/Roof Lead, your job duties will be, but are not limited to, directing the install team, completing a solar install from start to finish, training new crew members, ensuring safety standards are being met, overseeing install clean-up, and more.You will work closely with the Field Supervisor to ensure all team members are following company policy and correctly operating field equipment and vehicles.We are looking for a leader with problem solving expertise and great communication skills to ensure customer satisfaction with professional, timely, and efficient installs. Overall Responsibilities Sets strategic direction and vision for the safety function that aligns with company-wide objectives. Sets safety goals and measure performance against goals Manages safety’s interaction with the broader organization by representing safety in leadership decision making Manages budget and incident decisions for the function including disciplinary actions Continuously improves the department’s capability Manages and continuously improves company-wide safety program Coaches and mentors employees and subcontractors on process and procedures Qualifications 1+ years solar installation and electrical experience Must be willing and able to climb ladders and work on a roof for several hours at a time Ability to complete jobs in a timely and efficient manner Ability to work in extreme environments on a roof Integrity, honesty and ability to speak with customers Thorough understanding of AC and DC energy Common Knowledge of NEC codes Ability to read and understand solar permitting plans Clean DMV record and background check Ability to install residential solar PV system from start to finish including all phases of the installation What We Offer Competitive Medical, Dental & Vision Options Life Insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) Ancillary Benefits Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Eleven (11) Observed holidays Learning and Development Snacks and recreational activities within the office Legal Disclaimer Lumio, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer that values workplace diversity.
