Description

Tank Operations • Perform service work on company fuel/gas tanks - includes changing filter heads/filters, hoses, nozzles, installing monitors, updating decals, and other work assigned by Tank Operations Manager(s). Bulk Operations • Deliver Bulk Lubes to customers - includes picking up lubes from various locations such as Apex office, Durham office, or vendor(s) and transporting to customer job site(s). • Assist customers visiting office location to purchase bulk lubes/tank parts - includes pulling lubes/parts from our inventory location and transporting to their vehicle either by physically carrying or moving by dolly. Apex Office/Yard • Assist, wherever needed, with maintaining organized bulk lube and parts inventory - includes organizing and streamlining company equipment on outside property, reporting any problems/concerns regarding company equipment as to problematic placement or disorganization caused by other personnel, etc. • Transport fuel truck or service truck drivers to and from truck repair locations in either Apex area or Greensboro – includes being available on demand in order to limit time out of service for fuel or service drivers. • Assist, as needed, with filling fuel trucks for customers visiting Apex office/yard to purchase fuel. Other • Accompany fuel or service truck personnel to customer job site(s) to assist with miscellaneous project work where more than one person is needed to get the job done. As time allows work with Tank Operations Service Technicians to observe and thereby learn the tank repair process. Tanks on site at the Apex Yard are often serviced before being taken back out to customers which provides an opportunity for further education in this area.
